Due Today: Revised icon system for P4 final revision crit
P4 Considerations: Develop a unified, simplified, recognizable, memorable design system using the language of icons. Consider how to achieve unity in this icon set (concept, visual code, style, similarity of form: shape, color, line, medium, texture, figure/ground relationships, balance, scale). Consider how icons can be further simplified.

Due Next Class:
- Submit Final Project 4:
- In thin pocket folder include (in this order): filled out P4 self evaluation, P4 project sheet, initial research (mind map, warm up icon exercise), 45 thumbnails, 6 roughs, initial comps, final revision comp. Three-hole punch everything that is process related (or use plastic sleeves). Final print of icon system design MUST be printed 8.5″ x 11″ landscape in color on heavyweight stock. Rescale icons to 2.5″ x 2.5″ each on final. Include a title for your icon set (small sans serif, i.e.: 7–9 pt. sans-serif typeface ALL CAPS).
- Upload PDF of final icon system (P4)to D2L by 3pm on Thursday. Name your file “lastname_P4iconset.pdf” and save as “Smallest File Size” PDF.
- Also, Upload PDFs of P1 and P3 to D2L before start of class Thursday. I photographed the menus and do not need PDFs of these projects.
- Project 4 Final Presentations (1–2 minutes)
